The Vale das Lobas vision was founded on an awareness of the changes that are now upon us, and the need to create secure strongholds of peace. This location, in a remote mountain area, has a long history of community resilience, self-sufficiency, and deep collaboration with Nature. In the thirteen years since the projects inception, Vale das Lobas has become embedded within the community and the natural lansdcape, and together we share the goals of maintaining a free and independent lifestyle, based on our harmonious connection with the natural world.
Artisan Village is made up of twenty-six ecohomes. Our vision is that about half of these will be owned by people who wish to move here, and live permanently within the valley. The other owners will buy an ecohome as a safe investment. In those cases, they can be rented out for short term stays, to allow more visitors to gain access to the courses, programs, and retreats at Vale das Lobas. These rental agreements will provide a good return on the buyers investment.
In all cases, buyers will have full ownership of their ecohome, with the right to resell, and the likelihood is that these gorgeous homes will become ever more popular in the future. So to buy an ecohome in Artisan Village can only be a positive step.
